National Registry
We are currently collecting local, anonymous, and de-identified cpKPI data from various hospitals in Canada to develop a National Registry. This data is used to track implementation progress, benchmark nationally, and identify areas for improvement.

The National Registry, being the first of its kind, was established to inform the advancement of pharmacy practice, and improve patient outcomes. The secure registry captures local, anonymous, and de-identified cpKPI data from various hospitals in Canada on a yearly basis.

The purpose of this registry is to enable the process of benchmarking and tracking progress, which allows meaningful comparisons of clinical pharmacy services within and between organizations, facilitates the identification of gaps in the provision of care, since the measurement of cpKPIs is implemented on a patient level, and gains the ability to advocate to governments and policy makers the impact pharmacists have on patient care. The registry may also provide the initial steps of establishing national best-practice sharing among organizations to facilitate continuous quality improvement.
